Philanthropy for Ukraine
Join this funders-only discussion on how philanthropy can support the ongoing and widespread relief, recovery, and rebuilding efforts as a result of Russia's war on Ukraine.
Exclusive Transatlantic Conversation with 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk
As the Russian regime's devastating war and destruction in Ukraine continues, private funders stand in solidarity and substantially contribute to supporting Ukrainians, addressing humanitarian and other critical needs. Our goal is to provide philanthropic funders with the latest insights, commentary, and analysis on Ukraine's emergency and evolving needs, as well as initial work and plans for recovery and reconstruction through the spirit of the Marshall Plan, an essential foundation of global security, stability, and prosperity.
This exclusive session on 24 February 2023, will mark the first full year of the war in Ukraine by spotlighting how mobilized private funders and transatlantic support have responded. As Ukrainians and their global partners address current, near-term, and longer-term needs and plan for recovery, modernization, and a new economic and political path forward, guest speakers will take stock of the world's strategic investment in Ukraine and outline the vision for continued philanthropic leadership.
In partnership with Philea, the Council on Foundations, Community Foundations of Canada, Philanthropic Foundations Canada, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the German Marshall Fund of the United States, and the European Community Foundation Initiative join us on 24 February for an exclusive conversation with 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk.
