The three-day class focuses on creating an inclusive culture of collaborative learning in teams, communities and organizations. It is for both new and experienced leaders, managers, facilitators and graduate students who would like to develop or improve their facilitation skills. It takes place at The Seasons Lodge in southeast Indiana. The workshop begins at 9:30 am on Day 1 and ends by 3:00 pm on Day 3. There are evening sessions on both the first and second days. The course also includes an introductory webinar.

  • Day 1: Monday, June 27 (9:30 am — 8:15 pm EST)
  • Day 2: Tuesday, June 28 (8:00 am — 8:00 pm EST)
  • Day 3: Wednesday, June 29 (8:15 am — 3:00 pm EST)

Class size is limited to 24 participants. This allows time for every participant to practice facilitating and receive coaching and feedback in small groups. Due to the focused nature of the workshop, participants are asked to participate fully in the three days without phone calls, meetings and other interruptions that diminish the learning experience for all.

The cost of this retreat experience includes all meals from lunch on Day 1 through lunch on Day 3 and all materials for $625. The registration fee does not include lodging.

All participants and trainers will continue to follow the guidance of the Indiana State Department of Health as well as local and Purdue policies around wearing face masks and practicing social distancing. Updated information will be shared in advance of the session. When planning your travel to the workshop and Nashville, Indiana, please note that Nashville is on Eastern Standard Time.
