Harrison County Community Foundation to Hold Forum on Community Development

The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) invites the public to a forum focusing on community development on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the HCCF office, located at 1523 Foundation Way NE in Corydon.

At this forum, attendees will have conversations around developing our community, with the theme of painting the picture for our future. Panelists will share insight into community development, and a question-and-answer period will follow.

Scheduled panelists include:

  • Rand Heazlitt, Corydon Town Manager and Planning and Zoning Administrator
  • Lisa Long, President, Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County
  • Darrell Voelker, Executive Director, Harrison County Economic Development Corporation
  • Lee T. King, Broker/Sales Manager, Schuler Bauer Real Estate Services

The community development forum is the second in a series of forums addressing critical subjects impacting our community. These forums are intended to enable attendees to share current information about chosen topics and discuss possible solutions.
