Kosciusko Endowment Youth Services (KEYS), the youth philanthropy group at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation was recently awarded a $12,500.00 grant from the Dekko Foundation. These funds will be put toward KEYS grant making efforts, which aim to improve education in Kosciusko County through supporting meaningful and innovative projects from teachers and educational nonprofits.

KEYS is comprised of 20 students, one grade level representative from each of the county school districts: Lakeland Christian Academy, Tippecanoe Valley, Wawasee, and Warsaw. These students are nominated to join as 8th graders by their building principals and staff, and serve with KEYS until they graduate from high school.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Inc. has helped donors achieve their charitable dreams. The Community Foundation is a public charity that grants $3 million annually in the areas of education, health, arts and culture, recreation, civic projects, environment and human services.
