Parent Caregiver Survey
The Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne is launching their 2025 Women’s Fund Parent Survey. The Women’s Fund was launched in 2020 alongside the Allen County Women & Girls Report, the first comprehensive study of women and girls in Allen County since 1974. The Women’s Fund is committed to making sure we never experience that kind of research gap again, and we are currently working on the five-year update to that study. The survey is IRB 2024-1561. The principal Investigator is Rachel Blakeman. Purdue University is conducting this survey and participation is for research purposes.
This study will narrow in on our three focus areas: personal safety, economic security, and young women and girls. For the young women and girls’ portion, we want to hear from parents and caregivers to learn more about how they are handling some of the most pressing issues for young women and girls in our community. What we learn from this study will help inform local programs, schools, and policymakers on the most effective strategies to educate, inform, and support parents and caregivers of young women and girls.
If you are an Allen County, IN resident, with 15-20 minutes of spare time, who is a parent or caregiver with a young woman ages 13-22 in your household, please take the survey. If you know a parent or caregiver with a young woman 13-22 in their household, please send them the survey if you feel comfortable:
