Foellinger Foundation to Present at History Center
Foellinger Foundation will present Enduring Impact: The Foellinger Family in Allen County at the George R. Mather Lecture Series on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at the History Center. There is no cost to attend.
With the extraordinary life story of Helene Foellinger at its center, this lecture will share the enduring, positive impact the Foellinger family has made on Allen County, and demonstrate the unique and irreplaceable importance of individual philanthropy. The lecture will include a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the documentary film about the Foellinger family, An Influence for Good.
The George R. Mather Lecture Series features topics influencing Fort Wayne and Allen County history. It is named in memory of former History Center board member Reverend George R. Mather, who initially proposed the idea for the series. Rev. Mather passed away in 2004.
