Clowes Fund Announces Staff Promotions

Beth Casselman, executive director of The Clowes Fund, Inc., announced two staff promotions and two new appointments. 

Erin M. Trisler is promoted to Operations Director and Megan Briggs Reilly to Program Director. Patricia Alonso was recently appointed to the position of Program Assistant, and Traycee L. Lane will serve as a graduate assistant for the spring semester while pursuing a Masters in Philanthropic Studies from the Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy.

According to Casselman, Trisler has been with The Clowes Fund since 2014 as Program Manager. Prior to that she was Vice President Development of the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site in Indianapolis. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University. 

Reilly joined the foundation in 2015 as its New England-based Program Officer. She has more than 20 years of experience in philanthropy. Prior to The Clowes Fund, Reilly was a Philanthropic Advisor at Hemenway & Barnes LLP in Boston where she helped a number of New England-based family foundations with their grantmaking. She is a graduate of Boston University and the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.  

Alonso most recently worked at the Immigrant Welcome Center in Indianapolis. 

The Clowes Fund is a family foundation based in Indianapolis that has awarded nearly $120 million in grants to qualified nonprofit agencies since 1952.
