Quick Hits: Workforce

In between talking with exhibitors at the Idea Exchange, make time for one or more Quick Hits. These 45-minute sessions cover a variety of funding areas: arts & culture, early childhood education, environment, equity & inclusion, grantee perspective, housing, public health, and workforce.

Bill Turner has engaged in Indiana’s workforce system from every vantage point—employer, school board member, workforce development official, and now, philanthropy executive. He will use those experiences to distill the complexities of the federal, state, and local government infrastructure into the top facts a funder needs to know about how they work. Key data that illuminates intervention opportunities will be shared. Bill will also discuss his observations about how funders might impactfully engage in the workforce ecosystem.
