How to Use Your Data: Moving from Compliance to Continuous Quality Improvement

Sixty percent of non-profit professionals report that they don’t use data to make decisions. Organizations are good at collecting data but don't know what to do with it, so we help them package it in a visually appealing way (dashboards, reports, infographics) and then train their staff on how to tell their story with data.

Attend this session where we will discuss how to make meaning from your data and use your data internally and externally to drive your impact. We will discuss how to use an internal “Continuous Quality Improvement” (CQI) approach to make data-informed decisions that will improve your program impact. We will also discuss how to share your data with external audiences to secure partnerships and funding.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will gain skills to make meaning from their data and communicate their impact.
  • Participants will learn how to report their data externally to market their program and secure partnerships and funding.
  • Participants will learn how to use their data internally to make improvements by using CQI tools and following the PDSA Process.
