Chief Impact Officer

Alison Gerardot, Chief Impact Officer, joined the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne in February 2017, where she has been in leadership since she began. She is responsible for collaborating with individuals on their personal philanthropy, developing and implementing strategies for growth, and helping elevate philanthropy throughout the community. In 2020, Alison Gerardot helped to launch the first Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne held at the Community Foundation.

Alison has her BA in English from IPFW, her Certificate in Fundraising Management from the IU School of Philanthropy, and is a 21/64 Certified Advisor. Alison has an extensive nonprofit background, through social work, arts nonprofit administration, and education. In 2016, she was honored as a Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly “Forty Under 40” recipient, in 2019, she became a Leadership Fort Wayne graduate, and in 2020, she was named one of Fort Wayne Magazine’s “People of the Year” for her work in helping to establish the Women’s Fund. In 2022, Alison was named a “Champion of Change” and was honored with an award from Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., the chamber, for her mentorship of young women throughout the community and work in establishing the Women’s Fund. She is a 2022 graduate of the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance Mutz Leadership Institute and a 2023 graduate of CFLeads Executive Leadership Institute for Vice Presidents.

Alison currently lives in Fort Wayne with her wonderful husband, two children, and adorable dog, Theo! She loves visiting the farmer’s market on Saturday morning during the summer and spending the rest of her free time with friends and family.

Terri has an extensive background in community foundation leadership and management. As the associate director of GIFT at IPA (2013-2020), she contributed to the organization's development and success. Her prior role as executive director of the Northern Indiana Community Foundation (NICF) in Rochester, Indiana, showcased her strategic leadership over a ten-year tenure, following her service as a board member. Additionally, Terri co-owned and managed a family business.

Her commitment to community service is evident through her board memberships, including the Fulton Economic Development Corp. and Fulton County Leadership Academy. Terri is also an active member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Academically, Terri holds degrees in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and Accounting from International Business College.

Alisa Winters serves as the vice president of GIFT (Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow) Technical Assistance, where she provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for support services and professional development programs supporting Indiana’s community foundations across all 92 counties. During her tenure as a technical assistance advisor, Alisa personally navigated more than 1,200 requests, offering expert guidance on governance, succession planning, and legal compliance. A dedicated partner to the field, she conducts over 30 onsite visits annually and authors the annual GIFT Snapshot Reports, the definitive benchmarking resource for the state’s philanthropic sector. Her expertise extends nationally as a facilitator for IPA’s National Community Foundation Boot Camp, bringing best-in-class insights back to Indiana’s foundation leaders. Before joining IPA, Alisa served for a decade as the CEO of the Rush County Community Foundation (RCCF). Under her leadership, RCCF experienced transformative growth, doubling its assets and staff size while successfully securing significant Lilly Endowment GIFT VII leadership grants. Alisa is a graduate of the Mutz Philanthropic Leadership Institute and remains active in her community through the Rush County Economic and Community Development Corporation, the Rotary Club, and Glenwood United Methodist Church. She holds a B.S. in sales management from Purdue University and a Master of Public Health from Indiana University.
