GIFT

Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow (GIFT) is an initiative of IPA and Lilly Endowment Inc., which has supported the development of a community foundation in each of Indiana's 92 counties. IPA is home to the technical assistance component of the larger suite of GIFT initiatives.

IPA’s GIFT Technical Assistance team supports Indiana community foundations through professional development, networking, resources, and access to expertise and consultants to help guide and elevate their work. Visit the pages below to view GIFT-related content.

Asset-Sized Groups

Quarterly asset-sized peer groups offer a space for leaders to exchange insights with colleagues facing similar opportunities and challenges based on the size of their foundation. Each group meets virtually and is designed for candid dialogue and shared solutions.

Vice Presidents & Associate Directors

With the emergence of more staff working at the vice president level throughout the state, the CF VP cohort provides an outlet for relationship building and knowledge sharing.

The specific titles for staff working in this role include everything from VP of programs to associate director. We’re looking to foster networking across community foundation staff who hold the following responsibilities at your organization, no matter their title:

  • Decision-making authority that extends beyond the responsibilities of their singular role
  • Input on strategic decisions at the highest level of the organization
  • Exercises discretionary power in significant matters
  • Has taken/may take on a leadership role in organizational changes
