GIFT invites Indiana community foundation interns to kick off their summer internship with this virtual program. The webinar will include a brief orientation to community foundations - defining common words and phrases that are unique to our field and explaining the key functions of community foundations.

Guest speakers will join the call to talk about ways interns can use their summer as a career building opportunity. Pamela Clark, Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management and Student Success at the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, will share some tips for leveraging your internship in your future job search. A panel of former interns will discuss ways they used their CFI experience to build up their resume and move into their careers after graduation.

Interns will also have a chance to build connections with their peers from across the state who are managing a wide variety of projects at different community foundations. We will encourage interns to share their LinkedIn profile with each other so they can remain in touch afterwards. If you do not yet have a LinkedIn account, consider creating one ahead of time!
