What is the Youth Philanthropy Partner Network?
The Youth Philanthropy Partner Network is a network of community organizations and individuals that meet quarterly to promote and raise the awareness of youth philanthropy. Partners assist their fellow colleagues with creative ideas for engaging youth, collaborate on events that foster the awareness of youth philanthropy, and share innovative ideas for integrating philanthropic concepts into programming. Our partners share the belief that through active philanthropic engagement youth will develop life-long habits of giving and serving, grow to be dynamic young leaders, and become fully engaged citizens within their communities.
Meetings are held quarterly on Tuesday mornings from 8:30 - 10:00 am at a varying host location. Each meeting includes time for a light breakfast, networking, and a professional development presentation on a topic central to youth philanthropy. Additionally, members may participate in a closed Facebook group or utilize the group listserv to facilitate discussion and networking between in-person meetings.
