The Key to Grantseeking Success

There is a vast amount of knowledge to acquire in the grantseeking space. Successfully securing a grant requires more than just an idea and a funding source—an organization must:

  • Have a clear mission and deep understanding of its community.
  • Operate under strong leadership, leveraging the skills of its board and staff.
  • Present a compelling, well-structured proposal that captures a reviewer’s attention.
  • Since organizations only have one opportunity to impress reviewers, nonprofit leaders must develop a strategic approach to ensure their programs are positioned for success and able to capitalize on available resources.
