Monthly Policy Funder Call: Navigating Philanthropy’s Role in a Shifting Political Landscape
Co-sponsored by: Fund for Housing and Opportunity
As we navigate the impacts of the shifting federal political landscape, Funders Together to End Homelessness and Fund for Housing and Opportunity are creating intentional spaces for our members to connect, share, and strategize. In addition to our regular webinars focused on field updates and national trends, we are hosting monthly, informal Policy Funder Calls for members to exchange insights, elevate pressing concerns, and explore collective actions to advance housing justice and support community partners in this critical moment.
These are active, discussion-based calls that are member-driven and lightly facilitated by Funders Together and Fund for Housing and Opportunity staff. They are designed as open spaces for funders to:
- Share how policy and political shifts are impacting communities and people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity;
- Surface emerging challenges and opportunities for advocacy and resource alignment;
- Seek support, ideas, and thought partnership from peers, and;
- Strategize around philanthropy's role in protecting and advancing racial and housing justice efforts amidst ongoing attacks at national and local levels.
Please note: These calls will not be recorded for security purposes and to ensure a safe space for candid conversations.
Upcoming calls will take place on April 9, May 7, and June 4. Additional dates will be announced soon.
