Stopover, Inc., established in 1970, provides crisis intervention, transitional and rapid rehousing for 18–24-year-old homeless young adults is hiring a Fund Development Specialist. This person, in collaboration with the Stopover Executive Director and Board, oversees and is responsible for cultivating new, current, and former donors through utilization of a donor management system. The ideal candidate will focus on modest to major gift fundraising through prospect research, relationship-building, and stewardship via face-to-face interactions targeting $250-$1,000 gifts. The position is primarily remote with expectations of face-to-face meetings with donors, the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Contract or hourly position of 20-25/hrs. each week. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience, be a self-starter and ability to work with a small, mission driven organization.
