Triple the Impact of your #GivingTuesday Gift in Pulaski County
Save the date! #GivingTuesday is December 3rd, and The Community Foundation of Pulaski County (CFoPC) will once again spearhead the local observance of the day. #GivingTuesday is a global day of celebrating generosity, created in 2012 for the purposes of fostering philanthropy, encouraging giving to important causes, and celebrating the generosity of the community.
This year, a gift to one of CFoPC’s unrestricted Community Funds will be matched $2-to-$1, thanks to a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc. GIFT VIII initiative. This means donors can TRIPLE the impact of their gift by investing in Pulaski County!
“The GIFT VIII 2-to-1 match is a huge opportunity for Pulaski County”, said Kaye Beall, Board President of the Community Foundation. She further noted, “Our unrestricted endowment supports our Community Grants program, which is vital to enriching lives our communities. Community Grants touch all areas: from after-school programs to community beautification efforts, from economic development to animal
welfare, and much, much more.”
Leeann Wright, Executive Director of the Community Foundation, added, “Pulaski County is a wonderfully generous, thoughtful, and caring community. The GIFT VIII match is a great way to triple the impact of donations this #GivingTuesday and will truly strengthen the effect that our grants program has on the quality of life throughout all areas of the county.”
This December 3rd is a chance for Pulaski County residents to invest in the community they care about, while leveraging the gift match to deepen the impact of their generosity. #GivingTuesday contributions may be made online at www.cfopc.org/donate or dropped off at the CFoPC office at 221 N.
Monticello St., Winamac on December 3 during regular business hours.
Enjoy refreshments with CFoPC staff and feel free to share a story (or two) about the impact of generosity in Pulaski County. CFoPC would love to visit with you!
