Claudia Cummings, President and CEO of the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA), has been named to the prestigious Indiana 250 list for the third consecutive year. This week, IBJ Media released its second annual Indiana 250 list, highlighting the state's most influential and impactful business and community leaders.

The Indiana 250 list includes representatives from public and private companies, law firms, universities, non-profits, government, and community organizations. This year, many individuals from IPA member organizations were also recognized for their contributions to the state.

"For the third consecutive year, I have been named to the Indiana 250 by IBJ Media. This is incredibly humbling and shines a light on the importance of philanthropy across our beloved Hoosier state," said Cummings. "The members of Indiana Philanthropy Alliance dedicate every day to lifting lives, building communities, and transforming society for the better. It is my honor to represent each and every one of them in receiving this recognition."

Cummings was also included in the inaugural list last year and in 2022. Other IPA members recognized on this year's list include:

I am drawn to philanthropy because it offers a way to improve people’s lives by supporting the hard work of change agents in our communities. Vanessa Green Sinders, President & CEO of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce

"It’s an honor to be recognized alongside so many accomplished Hoosiers. It’s been a pleasure to meet so many of these esteemed recipients in my travels during my first year leading the Indiana Chamber. I was excited to meet more of them at the awards ceremony and look forward to the collaborative opportunities to advance the state that I’m sure will follow," said Sinders.

The Indiana 250 was developed and published by IBJ Media, the parent company of three news brands—Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business, and Indiana Lawyer—whose news leaders and staffs contributed to the selections. IBJ Media accepted nominations for inclusion on the list, researched executives and companies, and interviewed state, industry, and community leaders about who should be included. Ultimately, the selections were made entirely by IBJ Media editors and staff, meaning it is subjective and not comprehensive.
