The Community Foundation of Morgan County (CFMC) is pleased to announce our first ever community development matchmaking grant: Thrive. In 2019, CFMC completed a county-wide survey and outreach initiative which identified communities’ priorities, challenges, and opportunities for creating healthier, happier communities.  Post-COVID, and as a response to findings from this initiative, we bring you Thrive.

Any organization serving Morgan County with a 501c status is encouraged to apply.  Applicants will be required to match dollars requested, or up to $6,000.  Thrive is a dollar-for-dollar match and is intended to support only new initiatives which permanently improve a community’s quality of life and Social Determinant of Health (SDoH) metrics such as: neighborhood environment, economic stability, education, healthcare, or community involvement.

Attached to this email is a flyer for your organization’s awareness.  Some of you may not be personally interested in this grant but may have the ability to create awareness with other organizations in your community.  Would you please take the time to share with other organizations or branches in the county?

Application timelines, grant guidelines, and more information can also be found on our website at: https://cfmconline.org/thrive-grants/.
