Foundant has been closely tracking the global private philanthropic response to COVID-19 through news stories, public resources, and conversations with our clients. Although the response to COVID-19 has taken on familiar patterns for funders and recipients, the response affects clients in different ways than we have seen in the past.

We will get the discussion started around:

  • Donor engagement through social distancing — Strategies for connecting with donors from afar?
  • Volunteer engagement — How to effectively leverage volunteers? Many people are looking for ways to have a non-financial impact.
  • Communicating with donors about COVID-19 — How do you raise awareness and promote giving in these unique times? How does your organization stand out when your donor’s inboxes are overwhelmed with similar messages?
  • Community Partnerships — How do you effectively support community efforts in disaster philanthropy? Who are you working with and how?

We hope you will be able to join us and your peers to discuss how we are all tackling issues around COVID-19. The purpose of this forum is to bring professionals from across the sector together to share experiences and best practices. Bring your questions, colleagues, and creative solutions, and please come prepared to participate.
