Muncie, IN – Nonprofit organizations seeking grant funding from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. will now be directed to an online grant making system to apply. The online system is designed to make the process easier and more efficient for applicants, reviewers, and staff.

To support grant seekers through the new process, The Community Foundation will host training workshops to introduce the software. The first training workshop is scheduled for June 16 at the Ivy Tech Community College John and Janice Fisher Building (345 South High Street). Two trainings will be offered this day at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The trainings will last 60 - 90 minutes.

Organization representatives should only plan to attend this training if they anticipate applying for competitive funding during the remaining two quarters of 2017 or through the Maxon or Kitselman Grants programs in 2017. Registration is requested. To register, visit cfmdin.org.

Additional training is planned later this year to prepare applicants for any changes to the competitive grants process in 2018.

For information about Competitive Grants, visit our website at cfmdin.org or contact Marcy Minton, Senior Program Officer, at mminton@cfmdin.org.  The next deadline for nonprofit organizations to apply for a Quarterly Competitive Grant is July 7, 2017.
