Wayne County Foundation Announces New 2023 Board Members

The Wayne County Foundation is excited to announce five new members joining its Board of Directors in 2023. Brett Guiley, Ron Holbrook, Cheri Jetmore, and Paul Witte began their tenures in January 2023. Dick Smith began serving in September 2022.

Guiley is managing partner and a portfolio manager with Vista Investment Partners II, LLC in Richmond, Ind. Prior to joining Vista, Brett worked at Raymond James and Merrill Lynch and has been advising clients for more than 20 years.

Holbrook works in corporate affairs for SugarCreek Packing Company in Cambridge City, Ind. He is also a member of the board of directors for the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, serves on the steering committee for Forward Wayne County, is a member of the guiding team for East Central Indiana Talent Collaborative, and sits on the Richmond Family YMCA Board of Directors.

Jetmore has had a longstanding career in philanthropy and volunteerism. She is a lifetime member of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra board and previously served on the boards for Cope Environmental Center, Richmond Art Museum, and Richmond Friends School. She and her husband own Lick Creek Farms.

Witte is the president and chief operating officer of First Bank Richmond. He also serves on the board of directors for the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, the Reid Health Foundation, and sits on the finance committee for Reid Health.

Before retiring from Earlham College, Smith served as chief financial officer and then as chief investment officer. He also serves on the boards of The Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County and the Reid Center. He and his wife Margy serve as volunteer land stewards for The Nature Conservancy's Moraine Woods Preserve in Wayne County.

“Each of these new board members brings their own unique set of skills and experiences to the table,” Wayne County Foundation Executive Director Rebecca Gilliam said. “I am excited for what the foundation will be able to accomplish with them on our team.”

Founded in 1979, the Wayne County Foundation exists to foster and encourage private philanthropic giving, to enhance the spirit of community and to improve the quality of life in the Wayne County, Indiana, area now and for future generations.
