The Lilly Scholars Network (LSN) wants to share your upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and job and internship postings with Lilly Scholars.

Since 1998, nearly 5,000 Indiana students have received a Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. Now, with support from Lilly Endowment Inc., Lilly Scholars have the ability to connect with each other, their community and state through the expanded, Lilly Scholars Network (LSN), organized to:

  • Engage Lilly Scholars in topics and with people focused on Indiana’s future.
  • Inspire and equip Lilly Scholars to be active changemakers in their communities.
  • Cultivate meaningful connections.

One year ago LSN announced a new brand and vision, created an online platform to help connect scholars, and began hosting intimate and in-depth conversations with local and state leaders. The platform not only allows Lilly Scholars to find each other, but also to post and view job and internship openings, find a mentor within the network, and more. The ultimate goal is to engage scholars not only in the network, but in their communities.

LSN is also supporting scholars’ community building efforts through the inaugural round of Lead Forward Community Grants. Scholars had the opportunity to partner with an Indiana Community Foundation or charitable organization to apply for a grant up to $2,500. Of the more than 30 proposals received, 10 proposals were selected last fall for funding. You can read the press release here for more information on the individual projects.

A new round of funding has just been announced. Learn more about how to apply at http://lillyscholars.org/. The deadline to submit an application is April 30.

We hope you’re interested in connecting. You can reach out with questions or send any information to info@lillyscholarsnetwork.org.
