Putnam County Community Foundation Announces Executive Director
The Putnam County Community Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce Brandon Wells as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective February 4. Wells succeeds Elaine Peck who served in that capacity for nearly 17 years.
“It is a tremendous honor to be the next Executive Director of the Putnam County Community Foundation. I am excited to join the team and continue to strengthen the communities of Putnam County through commitment and service,” Wells said. “The dedication of our team, the many wonderful volunteers, and the generosity of our donors, empower us to continue to impact the lives of our friends, family, and neighbors.”
Wells holds a master’s degree in public administration and comes to the Community Foundation after having served as the Director of Volunteer Engagement at Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity in Indianapolis. He has extensive experience in leadership, operations, fundraising and human resources. Outside of work, Wells cherishes his time with his wife, Melissa, and two children, Jackson and Lauren.
“Brandon’s selection culminated a rigorous four-month search process. He was selected from a pool of 37 candidates across the nation. While there were many highly qualified candidates, Brandon stood out at all phases of the process,” noted Phil Gick, president. “The Community Foundation looks forward to Brandon joining a highly talented and motivated staff. The future is bright and promising for the Putnam County Community Foundation.”
The Community Foundation is a nonprofit public charity established in 1985 to administer funds, award grants and provide leadership, enriching the quality of life and strengthening community in Putnam County.
