New Report on Foundation Giving in Indiana

Thursday, May 1, 2014

IPA is pleased to announce the release of Giving in Indiana, 2014 Edition. Produced in partnership with the Foundation Center, the report presents new research on grantmaking in our state, including a focused analysis of grants directed toward specific beneficiary groups. The study was made possible with support from the D5 Coalition.

A greater understanding of philanthropy’s impact on diverse populations requires reliable research at the state and national level. It is our hope that this report will serve as a shared point of reference, enabling the conversation about diversity and philanthropy in Indiana to move forward in a manner that is grounded in concrete data.

A special breakout session at the 2014 IPA Statewide Conference ("What Does Diversity in Indiana Philanthropy Look Like?") will offer a chance to engage in a facilitated discussion with Indiana funders who are exploring and implementing strategies to promote diversity through internal policies and procedures and/or grantmaking.
