IPA Announces 2026 Board Updates and Newly Elected Directors

The updated board composition positions the alliance to effectively guide the organization in its mission to promote effective philanthropy statewide.

Indiana Philanthropy Alliance, the statewide network supporting and strengthening Indiana grantmakers, announces updates to its 2026 Board of Directors, including newly elected officers and incoming board members. These appointments reflect IPA’s ongoing commitment to fostering connection, learning, advocacy, and sector leadership across Indiana’s vibrant philanthropic landscape.

“The expertise and diverse perspectives our new and returning directors bring to the board are invaluable assets to the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance,” said Dr. Pete McCown, IPA Interim CEO. “Their leadership will be crucial in ensuring grantmakers across Indiana have the resources and support they need to maximize their impact in the communities they serve.”

 

2026 Board Officers

The following individuals have been elected to serve as officers of the IPA Board of Directors:

  • Chair: Brienne Hooker, Executive Director, Jasper Newton Foundation
  • Vice Chair: Tina Peterson, President & CEO, Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County
  • Treasurer: Josh Daugherty, Vice President and Senior Client Advisor, Huntington Bank
  • Secretary: Thomas Leedy, President, Dekko Foundation

 

Newly Elected 2026 IPA Board Directors

The following leaders have been approved for election to their first three-year term on the IPA Board of Directors, concluding December 31, 2028:

  • Jennifer Bartenbach, CEO, Central Indiana Community Foundation
  • David Lasater, CEO, Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette
  • Laura Macknick, President and CEO, Don Wood Foundation
  • Keylee Wright, Executive Director, The Kendrick Foundation
  • Neysa Meyer, Executive Director, The Putnam County Community Foundation

These directors bring deep expertise in community leadership, strategic philanthropy, and nonprofit management. Their insights will help guide IPA’s strategic direction and strengthen collaboration across Indiana’s philanthropic sector.

 

2026 Officer Updates

In addition to welcoming new officers and directors, the board confirmed the following updates regarding current officer terms:

  • One-Year Term Extension: Jeff Small, VP of Programs, Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust
  • Second Three-Year Term Reelection: Tina Peterson, President & CEO, Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County
