Indiana Philanthropy Alliance Hires New Director, Program Associate
Indiana Philanthropy Alliance has hired Becky Honeywell as director of member and external relations, and Julie Markland as program associate for Youth Philanthropy Initiative of Indiana.
Becky Honeywell has been named director of member and external relations for Indiana Philanthropy Alliance. Honeywell replaces Jack Cole, who served the organization for nine years. Honeywell most recently served as philanthropic advisor with the Central Indiana Community Foundation and is a seasoned development and marketing professional with over 35 years’ experience. She is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington, earning a BS through the School of Public & Environmental Affairs. Honeywell has held senior positions with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the Humane Society of Indianapolis, Well Done Marketing, and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce—among others.
Indiana Philanthropy Alliance has named Julie Markland program associate for Youth Philanthropy Initiative of Indiana. She most recently served as campaign manager for student series programs at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Markland is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington, where she earned a BS in Public Affairs through the School of Public & Environmental Affairs. She brings a variety of non-profit experience within both small and large organizations.
