Huntington County Community Foundation Names Matt Ditzler Executive Director
The Huntington County Community Foundation Board of Directors has named Matt Ditzler as the new Executive Director, effective January 1, 2020. Ditzler currently serves as the Associate Director of the foundation.
"We are thrilled to have Matt take the reins of this great community-enhancing organization," said John Niederman, President of the Huntington County Community Foundation Board of Directors. "His seven years of service to the foundation and his knowledge of the mission makes him the perfect person to take over and lead us into the future."
Ditzler started at the Community Foundation in July of 2012 as its Director of Accounting before being promoted to Associate Director in 2018. During his time at the Community Foundation, Ditzler has been involved in nearly every aspect of the organization's work, including scholarship and grant administration, financial accounting, and donor relations.
"Through the Community Foundation, I am reminded daily of the passion people have for Huntington County and the impact that we all can make in our community," stated Ditzler. "I am excited to take on this new role and look forward to maintaining and expanding our ability to be a resource and a steward for the charitable interests of our local organizations and citizens."
Ditzler resides in Huntington with his wife, Karissa, and their two children, Ezra and Lucy. He will be succeeding Michael Howell as Executive Director, who is retiring at the end of 2019.
The mission of the Huntington County Community Foundation is to connect people and resources with opportunities that enhance the quality of life for all.
