Hedges’ Launches Board Leadership Training Series

Hedges’ Board Leadership Training Series – Lead with purpose – launches in one week, on August 4, 2022! Hedges is deeply committed to strengthening the philanthropic sector and one of our ways to do that was to create a training series focused on preparing individuals for the board room, so they can be prepared to actively engage in board service. The 2022 series is our second year. Below are some exciting details about our offerings this year:

• By One Get One Free: To encourage two individuals from the same organization to attend allowing for easier application of information learned, we are offering this deal, so two individuals from the same organization can complete the 8-part series for $500 total. 
• Two Parts: If individuals feel they have a good understanding in the foundations of board service, they can opt out of the first 3 sessions, and only take the 5 deeper dive sessions. 
  • Part 1 – Foundations of Nonprofit Governance is designed for individuals new to the nonprofit sector or board service and those looking to update their knowledge, including leading financial and legal practices.
  • Part 2 – Advanced Nonprofit Governance builds on the content from Part 1 and is designed for more seasoned board members and Executive Directors who are seeking ways to amplify their impact as a board member or chief executive, prepare for board officer and committee leadership roles, and build and activate their board.
• Virtual: All Sessions are virtual and last 1.5 hours in the morning,  every other week from August – November. 
• Tools and Templates: Last year, the entire series packet of presentations and tools was over 200 pages. 
• Individual Registration: If you are interested in just a few of the sessions, we do offer individual registrations.

•    Full Series (sessions 1-8): August 3rd at 4pm
•    Part 1 (sessions 1-3): August 3rd at 4pm
•    Part 2 (sessions 4-8): September 14th at 4pm
