Harrison County Community Foundation Continues Growth
Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) is pleased to announce news related to recent staff changes.
Long-time HCCF Director of Development, Kim Harmon, shifted to the newly created part-time position of gift planning officer as of Jan. 1, 2023. Kim’s extensive development experience and passion for helping donors meet their philanthropic goals and support their favorite causes through planned giving will continue in this role.
Michelle Dayvault, who started at HCCF in February 2022 in the newly created position of endowment manager, was promoted and became the new director of development on Jan. 1, 2023. Michelle has served in nonprofit leadership roles for over 15 years and has experience with fund development, donor relations, community partnerships, and program management. Michelle will lead nonprofit sustainability initiatives and overall fundraising efforts for the foundation, including working with donors and agencies to establish new endowment funds.
Kimberly Spieth began her journey with HCCF as the new endowment manager on Jan. 15, 2023. Kimberly is no stranger to the nonprofit world and most recently served as CEO with the YMCA of Harrison County. She will draw from her nonprofit experience to support nonprofits and agencies who hold endowment funds with the foundation.
Tyler Best joined the HCCF staff on Dec. 1, 2023, as the new marketing coordinator. Tyler has helped several nonprofits and other organizations by sharing their unique stories. He brings a strong marketing background in writing, creating, and managing content on various platforms.
The remaining HCCF staff, including Chief Financial Officer Derrick Grigsby, Director of Programs Heather Stafford, grants manager, and Office Manager Sarah Travis, along with President & CEO Julie Moorman, look forward to working with newly positioned and newly hired staff in this new year.
