Community Foundation DeKalb County Announces Third Quarter Grant Funding
The Community Foundation of DeKalb County is delighted to announce the recipients of its third quarter grants, reaffirming our dedication to fostering community growth and development. These grants symbolize our unwavering support for local initiatives that create meaningful, positive impacts in DeKalb County. Through financial support, we aim to empower these organizations to continue their invaluable work and drive transformative change.
Grants Awarded:
• Erin’s House for Grieving Children – awarded $5,000 for operational support for DeKalb Co. services
• Children First Center – awarded $2,548 for materials to support building coping skills and rapport
• Alliance Industries – awarded $5,000 for their 2025 Capacity Building Initiative
• Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana – awarded $4,000 for Client Services Program for DeKalb Co.
• Ronald McDonald House – awarded $5,000 for their programs for DeKalb Co. residents
• McMillen Health – awarded $6,400 for their Preventive Health Education programs for DeKalb Co. youth
• Brightpoint – awarded $5,000 to support their Health Insurance Navigation Assistance Program
• Catholic Charities of the Dioceses of Fort Wayne-South Bend – awarded $5,000 to support their Resource & Referral Program
• Shifters Car Club – awarded $1,000 to support their participation in the Shop With A Cop initiative in DeKalb Co.
• Excelsior Arts Academy and Youth Theater – awarded $2,200 for capacity building
