Community Foundation of Boone County Awards Nearly $100,000 to Grantees

The Community Foundation of Boone County is excited to announce its first two cycles of granting for 2024, a total of nearly $100,000 awarded to 16 Boone County-serving nonprofit organizations. 

CFBC is proud to pour into Boone County-serving nonprofits through its Building Capacity: Building Community program, CFBC’s initiative to improve, elevate, and enhance a local nonprofit organizations’ ability to achieve its mission and sustainability. In 2024, this program will consist of two components:

Deep Dive Capacity Building Grants: Selected participants will participate in a professional consultant-lead deep dive assessment of organizational needs. At the end of the development work, participants will apply for a grant based on the assessment so the organization can address the identified needs. Congratulations to our Deep Dive Capacity Building recipients:

Leadership Development Grants: Selected nonprofit executive leaders or senior staff will participate in personalized executive leadership coaching and exclusive cohort learning opportunities. Similar to the Deep Dive program, participants will apply for a grant based on the development work to address identified needs that will help elevate the organization.
