Clowes Fund Hires New Program Assistant

Patricia Alonso

The Clowes Fund, Inc. hired Patricia Alonso as Program Assistant. Alonso has an extensive background in fundraising for local nonprofits serving Hoosier immigrant and refugee families. For more than 10 years, Alonso has worked directly with underserved populations and uses her bilingual skills and compassion to connect with the community. Alonso was most recently the special events and development coordinator at the Immigrant Welcome Center.; she is co-founder of the Indiana Undocumented Youth Alliance.

Alonso earned a B.A. in Nonprofit Management, School of Public Environmental Affairs, Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis and was honored as a Sam Masarachia Scholar.

The Clowes Fund is a family foundation based in Indianapolis that has been awarding grants to nonprofit agencies since 1952.
