CFBC Announces Unrestricted Cycle of Grantees for 2024, Awarding Over $225,000 to Local Nonprofits

Monday, October 21, 2024

The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) is thrilled to announce the recipients of the final competitive grant cycle for 2024, totaling more than $225,000 to 30 Boone County-serving nonprofit organizations. These unrestricted grants, aimed at addressing a wide range of community needs, will support critical programs in areas of education, health and wellness, and community connectivity.

CFBC received a record number of applications this cycle, totaling more than 55 applications with funding requests amounting to nearly $485,000.

“When we saw the number of applications come through, we knew we wouldn’t be able to fill all of the requests. We reached out to community partners and our fund advisors, asking them to come alongside us to help us fill as many as possible. We continue to be grateful for the many amazing funders in our community who want to help fill needs. We can only do this work because of those relationships!”
