AWS Foundation Announces $1,065,665 in Grants

AWS Foundation recently awarded $1,065,665 in grants to 14 non-profit organizations to benefit individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in northeast Indiana. These organizations include:
- Audiences Unlimited: $11,000 for My Expressions Arts Programming.
- Dekalb Central School District: $25,000 for a Waterloo inclusive and accessible playground.
- Elkhart Community Schools: $64,450 towards their ARIS implementation for Elkhart Community Schools.
- Fort Wayne Ballet: $23,750 for the sensory friendly programs.
- Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra: $100,000 for the Universal Design elements of their new center.
- Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana: $25,000 capital support for their JA Programming for students with disabilities in the 2024-2025 school year.
- McMillen Center for Health: $50,000 for their varied abilities days over the next two years.
- My Autism Ally: $15,000 towards expanding regional services to support families of autistic people.
- Northeast Indiana Foundation, Inc.: $17,500 for a Di@logue AI Project.
- Trine University: $33,000 towards ggLeap – Esports Venue Management & Security Software.
- Trustees of Indiana University: $130,574 for the Indiana Disability Resource FINDER support for the next three years.
- University of Saint Francis – Jesters: $180,000 to support Jesters program for three years.
- Vincent Villages: $320,391 to the Transitional Shelter Capital Campaign.
- Whitley County Consolidated Schools: $70,000 for two all-terrain power wheelchairs.
