56% of American Nonprofits Can't Meet Demand for Services

Nonprofit Finance Fund has released the results of its 2014 State of the Nonprofit Sector survey. Leaders from more than 5,000 nonprofits nationwide participated in the annual survey this year. 80 percent of survey respondents reported an increase in demand for services, making 2013 the sixth year in a row of increased demand. 56 percent of respondents were unable to meet demand in 2013—the highest reported in the survey’s history.
