Position Summary
President and CEO, ArtMix (Indianapolis) — Do you dream of a leadership role that creates an unusual and exciting intersection between the arts and disability services? ArtMix is seeking its next President and CEO, a caring, passionate and visionary leader who can build on the organization’s solid foundation of quality programming and a welcoming community to provide even greater access to the arts for students with disabilities. For over 40 years, ArtMix has been a leader in transforming the lives of people with disabilities through the creation of art. And ArtMix is an innovator, recognized nationally as a model for creative youth development, reaching and supporting thousands of people each year.
ArtMix offers a variety of programs in multiple locations—in the ArtMix studios, in schools and the community—led by a talented team of professional teaching artists. The organization is well known for its Urban Artisans internship program, which helps 16-22 year-olds make the transition from school to workplace, in the process creating amazing art that is sold in the ArtMix gallery and at outlets throughout Indianapolis.

Internally, the next leader will commit to maintaining a positive environment for staff and clients, while also introducing new systems and processes that keep ArtMix on the cutting edge of nonprofit business best practices.

Salary & Benefits
Compensation: $95k plus PTO, $6,000 annual healthcare stipend.
