Virtual Watch Party: Federal Budget & Tax Outlook

IPA is pleased to host this 2024 Budget and Tax Briefing in partnership with Economic Opportunity Funders, offering funders a critical opportunity to explore how federal budget and tax policies impact philanthropic work at all levels.
Why This Matters for Funders
Public budgets are among the most powerful policy instruments shaping economic opportunity. Federal fiscal policy decisions impact essential services such as healthcare, education, housing, infrastructure, and workforce development. With the expiration of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) in 2025, policymakers will face high-stakes debates over tax structures and funding priorities. These discussions will directly influence critical programs that support children, families, workers, and communities—affecting philanthropic priorities across multiple issue areas, from early childhood education and healthcare to economic mobility and senior services.
