ABOUT THE PROGRAM

As Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) becomes more widely recognized as a business strategy, more companies are attempting to develop these programs. Once considered a strategy only for large companies with staff dedicated to implementing CSR programs; smaller to medium-sized companies are recognizing the importance of these initiatives and putting them to work.

In addition to learning about the history and evolution of the CSR movement, this skills-building session discusses the market forces behind this growing business trend. The session will also provide hands-on steps to integrating CSR in your marketplace by aligning and leveraging what your company is also doing. Lastly, participants will learn from other local businesses about how these programs have been developed in their workplace as well as the impact they have had in their companies.
