Quick Hits: Public Health

In between talking with exhibitors at the Idea Exchange, make time for one or more Quick Hits. These 45-minute sessions cover a variety of funding areas: arts & culture, early childhood education, environment, equity & inclusion, grantee perspective, housing, public health, and workforce.

Public health protects and improves the health of people where they live, work, and play through prevention and large-scale solutions. Dr. Paul Halverson, founding dean of the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, will share the latest challenges and opportunities within public health and how grantmakers play a vital role in the pursuit of prevention and policy that benefits all people and builds a healthier Indiana.
