Foellinger Foundation increases special grant opportunity to $1 million
Recently, Foellinger Foundation announced a special grant opportunity for any Allen County-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides direct charitable services to apply for limited asset improvement (LAI) project funds. This special grant opportunity is for the improvement or replacement of current assets or for the purchase of new assets. Due to the overwhelming response the Foundation received and in recognition that this grant opportunity will be the first of several celebrations of the Foundation’s 60th anniversary, the Board of Directors has doubled the amount available for this grant opportunity to $1 million. In addition, the maximum amount an organization may request has increased to $50,000.
Foellinger Foundation looks forward to further strengthening effective organizations led by adaptive leaders while remaining faithful to the intent of our donors.
To be eligible to apply for an LAI grant, in addition to being an Allen County 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, an organization must be five years old, provide direct charitable services and must demonstrate how the project for which funds are sought will make the organization more effective.
Applications may be found at www.foellinger.org/lai2018.
