Central Indiana’s Premier Nonprofit Board Training Program

Session 4

Boards that lead with purpose work as a team. In this session, individuals seeking to maximize the strengths and effectiveness of executive and board leadership will learn the complementary yet distinct roles that staff and board members play in nonprofit organizations.

About the Series

The Lead with Purpose training series prepares individuals to apply their skills, interests, and experiences in effective nonprofit board service.

Participants completing this eight-session, interactive, virtual series will:

  • Be prepared to lead in the nonprofit boardroom
  • Receive tools for immediate use
  • Gain access to continued board support and resources through a LinkedIn Lead with Purpose Alumni group
  • Be invited to quarterly  “Ask an Expert” virtual sessions with a BoardSource Certified Nonprofit Board Consultant from Hedges

This training series is designed for individuals new to or interested in nonprofit board service, seasoned board members looking to further enhance their impact as a board member, and those preparing for board leadership in officer and committee chair roles.

All are interactive, virtual sessions from 10:30am – 12:00pm ET, with an optional 30-minute Q&A from 12:00pm – 12:30pm ET.

This series is brought to you by Presenting Sponsors Katz, Sapper & Miller and Faegre Drinker, and Supporting Sponsor First Person.
