Lucy Hornbeck Bless the Children Fund church camp scholarship application available
This year, the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) is once again making church camp scholarships available for Harrison County youth. The scholarship funding comes from the Lucy Hornbeck Bless the Children Fund held at HCCF.
The 2018 Lucy Hornbeck Bless the Children Fund church camp scholarship application is available on www.hccfindiana.org/lucy-hornbeck-church-camp-scholarship/. Church representatives can complete the application on behalf of youth interested in attending a church camp.
Completed applications can be mailed to Derrick Grigsby, Chief Financial Officer, at Harrison County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 279, Corydon, IN 47112. They can also be emailed to him at derrickg@hccfindiana.org. Applications must be submitted by Friday, March 16.
Priority is given to youth who have a financial need. No preference is given to any particular denomination or church.
Since 2002, the Lucy Hornbeck Bless the Children Fund has provided church camp scholarships to Harrison County youth who might not otherwise have been able to attend the camps. The fund was established in 2001 by a friend of Lucy’s who wanted to honor Lucy’s love of teaching and children, as well as her strong religious commitment.
