Central Indiana Community Foundation Announces $1 Million in Grants

CICF affiliates, The Indianapolis Foundation and Hamilton County Community Foundation, have announced competitive and strategic grant awards to not-for-profit organizations serving Marion and Hamilton Counties. 

The Indianapolis Foundation board of directors has approved grants for Marion County not-for-profit organizations totaling $1,100,700. During this grant round, The Indianapolis Foundation invested into programs and initiatives that align with CICF's strategic plan and leadership initiatives for Marion County. Additional grants were made from the foundation’s field of interest funds created by donors who wish to support a specific cause in perpetuity beyond their life.

Hamilton County Community Foundation awarded funding to 13 organizations and projects including two innovative multiyear grants to Ivy Tech Community College of Hamilton County and YMCA of Greater Indianapolis for the Westfield YMCA.
